First ever CME (Continued Medical Education) offering 2 CME points to
Doctors were conducted on 15th December 2024. In the current scenario of
Global Warming and Climate Change and in line with the mandate given by
WHO and CDC are considering the recent global pandemic of COVID-19,
increasing zoonotic diseases, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases
diseases (bacterial, viral, fungal, etc.), anti-microbial resistance,
nutritional problems, potable water safety, and the ‘One Health Mission’
of the Government of India. The beneficiaries included doctors,
veterinary doctors, poultry, livestock industry, farmers, public health,
community and preventive care professionals, NGO’s working in health
sector, policy makers, politicians and journalists, and all those
interested in birds, wildlife, botany, ecology, nutrition, pharmacology,
finance, sports, etc. The CME was houseful and was highly
appreciated. The faculty included experts from Virology, Medicine, and Vet
medicine, Poultry Sciences. The program was moderated by Dr. Satish
Pande, Director, Ela Foundation, Pune.
